Point Betsy

Last summer, Mark's parents took us on a lovely tour of Northern Michigan. It's stunning!

Here we are, enjoying the wind and Petoskey stones on Lake Michigan. For the record, those are Mark's shorts, and I'm trying to keep them from blowing off!

This a favorite among the favorites of favorite Reagan destinations: Point Betsy Lighthouse.

Thanks Mom and Dad!

Yes Indeedy I Have Been Remiss...

...but I have a colossal excuse. We had no internet for the summer. That's right, no internet. Our Turkish neighbor went home, that is, to Turkey for the summer and we share internet with him, wireless internet that comes out of his modem and says you have been sucessfully connected to MK Cafe and your signal is "very good." Thus we had no internet for the summer. Forgive me now?

Now it is time to consult our camera (thank you again, Mom and Dad Rodman) to tell us what we did this summer.

Looks like we went to the Oregon Coast in June to teach Family Camp music for Reformation Covenant Church. Pastor Steve Wilkins taught on the family and marriage in a distinctive southern accent. It was fabulous. In fact, almost as good as the music my hubby taught.

We were really there!

So was Mount Hood.

And some bright green moss.

Absentia

We're in Philadelphia enjoying 60 degree weather!

We arrived in Philly on Monday night and headed up to Pottstown to Mark's sister's house, driving a Toyota "Rave."

After a jaunt up to Princeton to consult a music professor on some contacts, we're back to playing with Shea and catching up with Erin and Michael.

Tomorrow night dinner is at Vince & Tony's where the best pizza in the U.S. is served. We need our yearly fix.

On Friday we're uprooting to Pittsburgh for the weekend where Grandmother lives. We'll get to see Mark's other sister and his parents too.

The best part is: it's warm. We're unthawing.

Pictures forthcoming - I forgot the camera-to-computer cord.
